ok Blah, maybe I was too hasty in my reply but it sure seemed like an insult..alot of people don't understand the Amtrak clause and assume you are a cheat because you qualify for it and don't have to pay state income tax...
personally I think it's pretty fucked if you live in one state and work in another and have to pay income tax to the state you worked in but you don't get any of the benefits the residents do...for example, if you want to go to college in the state you work in you have to pay higher tuition because you don't live there...you don't get to vote in any of the states elections even though you pay tax to that state...out of state hunting and fishing license, etc. etc. it's bullshit.

as for the 'go back to Cali, hippy" thing, well that was just me ribbing you in the spirit of this thread
and yeah I concede 98% negative is too high...idk, my mom used to always tell me that if you can't say something nice then don't say anything at all...but we didn't have internets then either

I've never understood the way some people are so proud of where they came from...saw a sticker once that said if Mexico is so fucking great why don't you go back there? makes sense to me...as an OTR driver I saw 47 of the lower 48 and it really is all the same...banks, bars, jails, post offices, wal-mart...and there's good people and assholes everywhere you go..I was really surprised a few times by both how friendly and how rude people could be..
