i have 4 vacuum cleaners dug from the dumpster or equally goofy. all have had nothing more than broken belts. (*facepalm*)
$2 @ Home depot and bingo!
one was actually a $400 Dyson. it had a crack in the canister...silicone inside and out, and Bingo! sold it to a friends wife for $75 instead of holding out for $150. and the list goes on and on and on.
