I have heard of Steve Jobs but not Ritchie. I have never met either so I have no respect for either of them. I have heard of their contributions and I do have some of the shiny toys and that does not bring respect. The few people who have my respect have earned it. As much as I liked Bush when he was in office even he didn't have my respect because I have never talked to him personally. Also just because someone has died does not mean I have to respect them. I can only give them reverence for their passing.
