When my first wife and I divorced, she and the kids moved to the Chicago area for a couple of years. I didn't find out about it until about 15 years later but one cold day my ex went into a convenience store and left the kids in the car with it running with the heat on so they'd be warm. My son, who was three or four at the time, managed to drive the car into the store. He's got a three year old himself now, heheheheh.
