And the iphone runs a cut down version of OSX, which is BSD based, which is a form of Unix.
Many, many, many people use Unix every single day and simply don't know about it.
The applications are also pretty much all written in C, or at least the interpreter is.
You have no idea how important this guy's work was. Steve Jobs on the other hand was just a cunt.
