Seems to be some confusion. Neither bills are formally dead yet.
PIPA is the senate bill that is losing support there.
SOPA is the house bill and was already put on hold before the protest blackouts occurred.
Both need to die and never return but the authors are trying to rewrite them. I am hopeful the public pressure will return when needed.
