Yeah you are right Kim but Ford WOULD have taken the deal if they'd have gotten their way, there's no doubt about that, and along with GM and Chrysler they did ASK for a bailout. The intent to get bailed out was still there. But yes, it does make a difference that they did NOT take the deal.
In a way I think it's great that the UAW bros can make so much money and wish I could but Jesus Christ, 100K is pretty high up there for unskilled assembly line work. I know managers and administrators who don't make that much a year.
