Onyma and Blah got it between them. It mounts onto the flash mount of your camera with a cord connected to the front of it to trigger studio strobes (flashes). You can also mount things you might mount on the flash mount of your camera, so technically you could mount them in series as PJ suggested, but you wouldn't ever need to. It doesn't have the same connection points as a camera mounted flash as it is just a trigger for the lights which have their settings adjusted independently.
