Some people mistakenly attributed the song "Living Next Door to Alice" to Dr. Hook which is understandable because the band Smokie did sound like Dr. Hook in that song and it was covered by other people but not by Dr. Hook that I can confirm, even though there is one YouTube video I watched (the one P_J linked to) claiming to be by Dr. Hook but it is not, it is also by Smokie. Smokie is also a band name, not a person's name. BTW, it is "WHO the fuck is Alice" not "WHERE the fuck is Alice" that is in the chorus of the song.
