I think someone is trying to tell her something.
Reminds me of when I was in the 6th grade there was a kid I had the good fortune to have sat by in the cafeteria during lunch because he would randomly take items of food off his tray and hurl them up in the air and wait for a splat and some kid hollering or screaming or crying. He was especially fond of the full little milk cartons as they tended to make the most splatter but nothing was off limits to him. Sitting near him was the only assurance of not getting hit with food and he was good at it, he never got caught.
