Macs are fine computers for what they are. I wouldn't mind having a Mac to play with at all. Since they moved to BSD-Linux as a base OS I think there has been a lot of improvement but I have to admit that I kind liked the old Mac OSes. It was different. Sometimes different is a refreshing change.
My Mac user friends are fine people, I just wish they'd tone it down a bit on the enthusiasm bordering on fanaticism. Nobody likes a snob, no matter what they're being a snob about. It's all changing now anyway so it's a moot point I suppose.
