Yeah, with all the fluff about Paul McCartneys supposed death swirlin around in those days, Harry Chapin havin recently died too and with Jimi, Janis and Jim Morrison having left the building in the years preceding Jim Croces' death I held out great hope it was a publicity scheme, which sadly it wasn't.

I still have all his albums on vinyl, and most of that as digital files now too, but, when I finally locate my round-to-it and fire up the ol turntable I'll happily reclaim the rest of his music off the LPs that never made it into the digital realm and hoard it like the treasured prizes they will be
