Nah skully, that waddn a jab at you man, just an overview of my thoughts on NOS in general.
But, the example you gave is exactly the kinda results a lotta folks get when playin with NOS, quickie HP gains with equally quickie disastrous results.
In most NOS failure events the block/crank and rods get thrashed and often even the head(s) too which means very little is actually salvageable at all except maybe the oil pan (if you're lucky) and the valve covers as in all likelihood everything in between will be destined for the scrap yard
