Funny how many a missed shift is due to sittin just a scoch too far back from the pedals. Definitely a buzz kill and ...... makes ya feel like a complete dufass, especially when doin it in front of a crowd.
One of my old customers with a FWD full-tilt 2.4t Mitsu Eclipse lives pretty close to that track and wants to get out there one night before the season's over for a lil fun & has offered to let me make a few passes in it, which oughta be a hoot!
Even with some nice slicks it's an art to launch it without spinnin the tires and wastin a lotta precious .100ths, if not .10ths at the start.
With a set of fat street radials up front on regular pavement it will just spin the tires after every shift as soon as it starts hittin good boost. That sumbitch is MEAN
