Yeah, I shot an Israeli Military .50 Desert Eagle over 20 years ago at an indoor range and..... DAMN!... it's like shooting a hand-cannon, it will pierce a 'bullet-proof' vest. It's got a gas-chamber built ito it just to help with the kick.
It would be fun to borrow a .50 for the day and take it out and see what it can shoot through.

I don't know how much they cost, .50, but that's the main reasons I just got a .22, $$$!
