Yep, but I also remember Shumi takin a nothin Benneton team to their 1st championship with a car that wasn't the fastest on the circuit and then takin Ferrari to the championship in just 2 years when they haddn even won a race in years!

Comparatively Senna went straight to the then dominant team/car when he went to Honda, won championships, then when Honda left F-1 and the team went to McLaren & the team/car was not the dominant group he did not win. Then when his contract was up he begged Frank Williams for a ride and even offered to drive for free just so he could again be on a dominant team since Williams was the team/car to beat at the time.

Sure Michael had the benefit of the best financed team in F-1, so what, that's always a given in one team or another and usually changes hands kind of cyclicly in F-1. He also managed to field a team that was devoted and actually made the Ferrari altogether one of the best in many years, which also lead in no small part to his success as well as the Ferrari effort overall. And ... there's no way in hell you can fault the driver for team orders. The deal is, only one driver can be the champ and the team with the dominant car/drivers will always pick one driver to be that champ if it's in the cards for them to do so.

Senna was a spoiled rich Brazilian brat that had had everything handed to him on a platter, Shuie at least worked for what he got and succeeded by his efforts while at the same time building a team that was the darling of F-1 because the team as a whole was the best in the business.

I saw Senna do some amazing things .... amazingly ballzy, dangerous, and arrogant that led him to many championships.

Conversely, I saw Michael do amazing things too, but his were based in skill, calculated risk and immaculate talent grinning smiley
