If you want to legally own a gun move to a state that allows it. Even if government building get scanners you can always do your business with them online. If you don't like the government then work to replace them every 2 years. The government is only people we elect to the offices. The government is not an entity of its own. I believe every elected official should be replaced every 2 years and I am continually promoting that to everyone I come in contact with every day.
