Yeah, my file transfer program displays a continuous transfer rate, starts a bit slower usually on big files then gets faster. If memory serves me right this particular transfer started out at about 45mb/s.
Dudn really matter if I can see a burst speed or not if the sustainable transfer rate (considering the buffering) is only able to hit 68mb/s. Maybe if I'd have opted for the 32mb cache version drives instead of the 16s I could pick it up just a bit more, but even 68mb/s ia a long fuckin way from 1000mb/s no matter how you look at it
