I see one problem with the clean sweep. When they start listening to the people, who will they listen to? Would we need ballots on every single issue before congress or will they be listening to the "vocal minority" instead of the "silent majority"? All too often laws are enacted based solely on what is heard from a minority of the people who speak up or march on Washington or make the most noise. There needs to be a way for the all of the American people to be heard, not just those who raise their voices the most.
