Had this happened in the middle of the summer the outcome could have been very different. Warm water and increased boat traffic could have spelled disaster. The pilot was very skilled and luck was on his side as well. What he did after the landing spells the caliber of man he is. He waited until everyone was out and walked the aisle twice to make sure everyone got out before exiting the plane. A real hero more from his actions after the landing then the landing itself.
