Seeker - i have seen plenty of games of football where players use their legs, chest, head and even hands (keepers, throw ins, and Diego Maradonna against England). A lot of goals are scored off the head!

It (the eggs shaped ball version of the game) is called football because of, allegedly, William Webb Ellis, at a school in a town called Rugby, who while playing football, picked up the ball and ran with it. Rugby Football was born from that and all other oval ball games are derivatives of that, and are still called football because of it.
