woberto - you need to revise what you consider to be true and your take on history. Pi is an irrational number (a bit like you?), which means it cannot be expressed as a fraction using integers. Any interger, other than multiples of 7, divided by 7 will have a repeating pattern every 6 decimal places. Pi on the other hand has no repeating pattern. 22/7 is an approximation of pi, not how it is calculated. Can I suggest doing some research before regurgitating what you might have been told by some misinformed teacher or parent.
