Of the 22 in her class, only 2 were born in Australia. Three quarters come from a non-English speaking background, and by the age of 7 rarely match the lingual skills of a kindergarten pupil.

The only difference between what you're saying and what we're seeing, is we pretty much just give them all residency, and then citizenship. We don't have that big an 'illegal' problem, because it's easier just to make them all legal.

Take for example the skilled worker visa. We'll give one to, say, an Indian student. That visa allows them, and their family to come to Australia. And when I say family, I don't just mean wife and kids. I mean mother, father, siblings, grand parents, aunts and uncles. All legal from the moment they arrive.
