Having read the linked text my question would have to be what you think might sound nonsensical or unreasonable in what Huntley Brown had to say?

Secondly, I saw no notion of bashing Obama in the text. What I did see was one person who even in fairness started by stating his displeasure with both candidates, then stated his opinions (and gave examples to back up these ideas) regarding Obama, and why because of his religous beliefs, felt he could not support Obama in the election.

My suspicion is that BT is a staunch Obamaite, who like many other supporters, do the best they can to discredit anyone voicing an opposing view and then typically play the racist card as the agenda used by the holder of the opposing view/opinion, since many such statements are penned by white writers. In this case, since the writer of the linked text is himself black, this (incredibly obvious) tactic dudn work, so another method must be employed to undermine his credibility.

But .... simply saying another black man would make a more worthwhile (or credible) opponent to speak out against Obamas platform or (public record) congressional voting history seems inescapably weak to use at all since there was no mention of any reason for his lack of credibilty.

So BT, what makes this cat any less valid as one able to state their opinion about Obama? Do you have anything real to relate to validate this view or are you simply trying to invalidate his ability to hold an opposing view

I've stated here on multiple ocassions that I am categorically athiest, and that hard line religous folks, no matter which faith they embrace appear to me as inherently dangerous individuals. What is even scarier to me are religous zealots bent on manipulating their agenda upon "members of their flock", which honestly, most all do to a lesser or greater extent.

To my mind, Reverend Wright is absolutely one of those individuals who has managed to even twist his Christian teachings/sermons to also encompass racism and an extreme hatred for America itself. When you look at that with the idea that Obama admits to having attended this church for 20+ yrs and only recently (within the past 3-4 months) decided to condemn Rev. Wright, whom he previously pointed an admiring finger to as his "spiritual mentor" does it really take any hard thought to extrapolate that Obama himself simply began to condemn him when it became politically advantageous to do so?

My thoughts (and my fears) about Obama and his ideologies are that he is EXACTLY a product of the teachings and principles Rev. Wright espouses and a far cry from the candidate who embraces America and ALL RACES equally as he claims. In my opinion he is a racist individual with an inherent agenda relevent to that ideaology who stands poised to foist these views upon the very same people who now support him should he become president. I also fear he will continue to further undermine our national sovereignty and further deplete our social services funds by endorsing even more rights for the illegal contingents within our borders as he's already openly sworn to do. I see him as anti-military, anti-American anti-anyone but blacks and a very dangerous man in his own right.
