I hate to be stupid, but does binder specifically refer to IH, or is it certain types of other trucks, too? Also, do you know the origin of the term?
I drove a '71 Scout for several years, sold it to someone else who drove it for several years, and he sold it to someone else. I have seen it as recently as about 4 years ago, so it was still running.
