I haven't seen any of my freedoms disappear. I am just as free today as I was 20 years ago. I am free to do anything I want to now as long as it is legal. If it is illegal we shouldn't do it anyway. The only freedom I noticed losing is the right not to wear a seatbelt or smoke whereever I like but I can deal with that, I don't like it but I can deal with it. If you want to change things then don't forget to change those bck as well.
