He won't be a senator or anything like that. The tradition is for him to make money giving speech - or in his case, juts showing up. Bill Clinton has made oner $100 million doing this since he left office.
Then he will be the figure head for the Bush Center or some such, which will be a way to raise money and promote his legacy and lifestyle.
I don't think we'll hear a lot from him after that.
