Now that was an interesting read, man, reminds me of somethin my own computer "mentor" buddy did.

He's a geek by trade and was in a slump between gigs a cuppla years back. Bein an avid porn purveyor himself he sat down and wrote a set of code that would allow him to use one of those "3 day free trial" deals on sites to go in and rip everything on the site & dump it onto a HD in a matter of about a day! He even had some type of comparator software built in to it so it never DLed dupes of files he already had on the drive

I "used to have" about 10 gigs of stuff on one of my drives and would post it on the other side, but grew tired of the bitchin from throwin up 50-100 files at a whack and finally just gave it up.

I, like yourself really did it just to share my collection, and if folks liked it, great, if not, then screw 'em, but eventually all the time it was takin to UL it daily versus the complainin just wore me down and I abandonded ULing my stuff altogether there a cuppla years back.

And then ... a major system crash left me flat since I'd never taken the time to back it all up to DVDs. Although that had been my plan all along when I got my 1st DVD-RW drive, I'd never taken the time to burn it all off, so one day POOF it was all gone, along with lots of other data too
