I have a booth at the local fleamarket and over the last 20 years there I have noticed something. When the National Economy is good our business is bad, but when the economy is bad our business is good because of people trying to save money. Right now our business is bad which indicates that people aren't trying to save money and that in turn indicates that the economy is not so bad. Also people aren't trying to conserve gas which makes the prices go up and is another indicator that the economy isn't so bad. If you are without a job then you would think the economy is at fault and you would blame than instead of looking within for the answer.
