I post some pretty silly stuff on here but this is serious. I made the mistake of thinking my mom's memory loss was just a part of normal aging and let it go on too long before acting on her behalf. Fortunately I did act before she became completely incapacitated and medication has nearly stopped the progression of her alzheimers, leaving her in a state where she can still care for herself with only a little help from me. If I had seen this short, simple questionaire a couple of years ago she would not have lost so much of herself to this disease. Everyone with an elderly parent or grandparent should answer these questions and take action before that person you care about becomes someone else.
