That's funny, it reminds me of the Turtles of all bands, I used to drive limos and would pick up Howard Kaylan and take him to and from his home and the airport and he would tell me about "the old days" sometimes, one of them was his dinner with Jimi Hendrix, here I was a guy in a suit and tie being professional, then heard Jimi Hendrix and I was kinda like what? no! really? Then he says, oh yeah, no biggie, Jimi, Eric Clapton etc. etc. It's funny but I looked up to Howard a little more after that, at the time I didn't even know what songs the
Turtles sung.
Damn, I looked up video and found this great video I use to see once in a while on, of all things, MTV.
