It would not matter even if ordinary Joe Blow became President, because after one payday he would also become a money grubbing SOB just like everybody else. The salary for the office is higher than any of us have ever had or ever will. Even congress has so many monitary advantages they become corrupt quite easily. If an honest person gets in office and doesn't go along with the rest he will be squeesed out by the rest.
