I moved to portland a little over a year ago from Los Angeles. the trafiic in portland is cute and funny and somewhat refreshing to what Los Angeles has to offer. there is no hell like the southbound 405fwy from cetury blvd to the 605 interchange on an august afternoon say 3:30pm on a friday to 10:00pm or the 405 north to the 101 south in the afternoon just after it rained for the first time in the season. The 405fwy is just plain evil..... so no to blowing up Portland. Los Angeles is prime for a disaster though.
