What the people settle for is what they deserve and when you settle for something that gives those companies new goals, finding ways to get you to settle for even less.
That is a bad thing about capitalism, the overall quality of everything continues to get worse to increase PROFIT. Isn't it "funny" how companies (and the government) re-package and re-sell stuff, make it LOOK better, but give you less than you had before.
They sell you a box of macaroni & cheese, decrease the quantity by a 1/2 ounce per box and sell 1000,000 boxes, all at the same price as before, well, they just saved 500,000 ounces of macaroni, but, charged you for it.
Ahh, nothing you can do about it!
