I will open my big mouth ANY time I please, freedom of speech, ever hear of it? The CURRENT government (not just Bush) is responsible for the construction, inspection, maintenance, and closing of bridges. Nobody (except those on it) likes the welfare state we have created, but what about 300 BILLION going to IRAQ? How about we put one hundred billion into finding or MAKING jobs for the welfare recipients? No more welfare unless you are crippled, if you need daycare then it is taken out of your wages. Part of that hundred billion (and the new jobs for the welfare types) can go to repairing and building new bridges. It is 2007, lets not pretend there ARE no solutions, that we CAN'T make safe bridges and keep them that way.
