Renting wasn't really an option as the replacement didn't all happen at once with no set time frame,taking place in fits and starts. The place was left structurally sound so work went slowly with mom living there, only making great forward strides when she went to stay with relatives for a few weeks here and there enabling me to really tear things apart while she was gone & get 'em back together before she returned. There just wasn't enough room for me to tear out all the old & put up the new with her staying there & I have a full time job to go to as well, not to mention being a single parent.
