After hurricane Charley, though the main part of my mom's mobile home was sound there was water damage to the ceiling throughout due to roof damage. I built this inexpensive deadman to hold the new ceiling panels in place while I nailed them up. Used a small floor jack at the apex of the main frame to get the final inches of lift after one of my sons and I would put the panel on the plastic coated supprt frame which was securely bolted to the jack. It worked quite well.
