And how do Democrats try to help? Through government-funded programs? I'm sure you know where that money comes from right? Why should I, as a Republican, want to pay more money to the government for an ultra-flawed system like welfare? People should learn to depend on themselves rather than the government for help. I'd rather help myself with my money rather than other people, that way I know EXACTLY what that money is being used for. I don't want to be funding someone else's food stamp ration and Cadillac payment.
