The key is that they let their EGO run their lives and they know that if they use common sense it will make everything they ever thought or said stupid so they just stay on their same old track..... downhill you go.... when they were younger they were not "up to par" so know they have to pretend to be extra hard, the problem (or solution) their is that it doesn't do nothing for them but "bring them down".... you know, the bullies on the playground were just overcompensating for their personal weakness, pussies.
Really strong people don't have to push so hard to show their strength. They don't have to show, they know.
