I hafta say there's a lot of truth in what's been said above. I doubt seriously any upstanding black individual is proud of the typical black lifetstyle shown in most black neighborhoods nor the constant "hands out" posturing of many of the black contingent here in the US.

The "Pity me 'cause I'm black" , "I'll never get any where 'cause I'm black" , "I can't get any where in life because Whitey keeps me down" trains of thought so commonly exhibited in the black community are all self defeatist and truly tiresome from my own perspective. "Can't" never did or will do jack shit.

There have been waaaaay more tax $$s expended on behalf of black Americans than any other group in recent American history and from the progress that's been made for all that $$ .... the taxpayers are really gettin cheated big time.

The actions exhibited by so many of the "displaced" New Orlean residents truly showed the truest of colors in the black community.

Sadly, though there was plenty of work to be had in the clean up and rebuilding process of that city, workers had to be recruited from out of state since a common attitude among these same "displaced" people being offered good paying honest work was "I ain't doin that shit ! When am I's gonna gets my money ya'll OWES me ?".

It's just my opinion but I'll damned well own up to it and say I'm tired of ANYONE playin the race card and continuing a self defeatist lifestyle without accepting responsibilty for how that turns out. We all are the masters of our own destiny and any other belief about that is only giving away the personal power we have, which once more is a choice, and one that has consequences.

Only those blinded by the absolutely rediculous concept of political correctness could see this issue any other way than what it is ..... a disgrace to all black citizens.
