the biggest give away though are the door hinges. no other car uses door hinges on the outside like this. the exhaust is a bit funny, it usually terminates behind the rear wheel not at the back of the vehicle, but it might just have been knocked awry by the impact of the crash. It is also a standard land rover colour. The vent on the front wing suggests a late series 3, early defender, this vent is to let cool air into the air filter located on the left (facing the front of the vehicle) with a hose carrying the air across to the carb on the other side of the engine.
