what i find most ridiculous about ga(and the rest of the bible belt) is the proposal to do away with teaching evolution in schools... and to even offer courses in intelligent design...
my brother recently came home and our mother was trying to talk him in to signing up for this horse shit(my mother, i love the hell out of her!, is a fucking idiot!)
my brother has always been an athiest and refuses to accept anything other than science as an explanation of how we and the whole universe came to be(i brought him good)
it is hard to believe that this is going on in this day and age even... i could understand this when it was the middle fucking ages and to the best of eryones' knowledge the earth was flat
this is all just about instilling the fear of supersticious religions so to continue capitalising on the weak and stupid and continue the control over the masses
i'm afraid this won't stop for at least another hundred years... it really is pathetic that we can't advance further as a whole because of this lame tradition
