No, it doesn't have anything to do with a "secret government conspiracy" it's just outright greed right out in the open. That's the classic way of doing things from scammers, do something big-time right in peoples faces, by the time they blink their eyes a coupla times and question "what the fuck happened", everythings already so far they can't do nothing about it.
