Saddam did NOT control the people of Iraq with police or military might as I stated to Chickenlittle


Saddam DID control Iraq and the world with FEAR of the possibility of things as I stated.

Saddam controlled Iran (and more) by spreading lies about having WMDs.

Saddam controlled the Iraqi population with myths about torture and death at the hands of his "people".

Saddam's "people" were so few in number that Iraq was a prime target to be attacked from Iran or terrorist groups.

The Sunni and Shia were fighting as they are right now (while the US can't do shit to stop it) with the FEAR that Saddam's people could come for you. The US military does come after these people and they still are not dettered one bit.

If you are going to make a comment about consistency of ideas then you should at least keep it in context. Then you won't look like you are grasping at straws.
