I read one of the Tekwar novels. A ridiculous premise, a drug-chip that gives you a perfect holodeck like VR fantasy experience, but burns out after a certain time to make you buy more from your Dealer. Like that would not get hacked immediately. Shatner is a terrible writer, but a great Captain! And he is funny too! SHATNER RULES!
