If we had shot down the planes before they hit there targets you people would have been screaming for the admins blood even more then you do now. At the time the only things hijackers did before was to take the planes to some other location so how would anyone at the time know for sure they would have been used as missles? I remember thinking at the time that the administration would be damned if they do and damed if they don't.
