my ex, the blond i posted had 11 finches all pairs except one single. a neighbor of hers preyed upon her love of animals and gave them to her saying if she didn't take 'em he was gonna throw them in the trash cage and all.( nice cage btw (6 ft tall/ 4 ft square). we had 'em for 2 years, one day my recently departed 18 year old cat got his wish and 2 got out. when we got home from work there were feathers everywhere and he was napping. the other finches were looking very nervous. she still has i think 5 or 6 of 'em.
