Israel was formed at the expense of Palestine. The land was stolen without compensation or agreement from the land owner.
Your naive view of 3rd world nations is hilarious. If you had listened to any of the reports on TV you would know that 3rd world nation's governments do not have the money for many things; a real military to protect the country being the most important.
The military of Lebanon (Hezbollah, and supported by Iran) is primarily shiite. The same strain of islam that Bush thought was a good idea to free from Saddam so they can wreak havoc in Iraq too.
