of course there were bad decisions made in a lot of situations in the middle east, but has anyone made the right one? there is no way to make the right decision, because nothing the U.S. says or does will be acceptable to the rejects that will only be satisfied with Israel being dismantled and the land be returned to muslim rule. it's a no win scenario.

the only thing we can do to help right now is stay the hell out of the way. we will support our allies any way we can, but to commit anything else will just strenghthen the extremist's resolve.
