Nobody said that be learning english you have to give up your heritage. There are plenty of American citizens who still maintain their seperate heritage and still know their native language along with english. The heritage issue is a nonstarter and has no basis for not becomeing a legal citizen and learning the language.

You claim to know several languages and yet you still keep your heritage, gee how is that possible? What the pilgrams spoke when they came here is not the issue. What the majority of the nations speaks to communicate with everyone lese is the issue, we speak english. Russia speak russian, Mexicao speaks spanish, Italy speaks italian etc....
